So its time for HelmetStuff.com to test the new Arai XD
Helmet. The Arai XD is Arai's cross-over helmet. A blend
of off-road dirt bike helmets and a street bike helmet.
This helmet is known as the Arai Tour X in Europe. This
radical helmet aims to do it all !
With an msrp of $485 - $505, there are some great deals
available online. Just make sure that the Arai XD helmet
you purchase is actually a US spec helmet. We purchased
our US spec Arai
XD Helmet from Atlantic Moto for $432 including delivery.

The XD has a full-face visor that can be flipped up, which
allows the helmet to be worn with or without motocross
goggles.
Arai Americas describe the XD helmet as:
"It's a street helmet for the dirt, or a dirt
helmet for the street, an adventure touring helmet or
something faintly hooliganisque for the streetfighter
crowd"
With the explosion of supermoto in the USA, with believe
Arai XD has covered all possible new markets in the USA.
Arai XD Build Quality
As you would expect from a helmet in this price range,
the Arai XD has excellent build quality. The XD also features
a removable liner which can be washed to keep the helmet
fresh. Arai's cheek pads also make the helmet lining fully
adjustable to help make the XD as comfortable as possible.

Arai
XD Wind Noise and Ventilation
Good ventilation is provided by dual front intakes,
and a helmet peak that also channels the wind. The Arai
XD features the "Double-Delta" rear ducts
to draw hot air from inside the helmet. The helmet features
a roll pad at the rear of the neck to help reduce wind
noise.
Arai XD Safety Standards & Warranty
The Arai XD helmet exceeds Snell and DOT standards.
5 Year warranty as standard. Excellent visibility.
Arai XD Colors and Sizes
The XD is available in Black, Motard Black, White, Aluminum
Grey, Aluminum Silver. Sizes available from XS through
XXL

sun out of your eyes, along with the practicality
of a street bike helmet with full face shield. For
